Problem: Building Trust and Complexity in the Decision-Making Process
In health tourism, international patients face barriers of trust, transparency, and communication when deciding to receive treatment in a country thousands of kilometers away. Fragmented information, opaque pricing, and the complexity of choosing a hospital or doctor make the decision-making process harder and lower conversion rates.
Solution & Approach
A transparent and accessible experience was built with user trust at its core. A structure was created where users can easily filter and review specialist doctors, JCI-accredited institutions, and more than 10,000 treatment options on a single platform.
Key Features and Design Decisions
- Comprehensive Search and Filtering: A clear information architecture was designed so users can quickly find the treatments they need (Plastic Surgery, Dental Treatments, Hair Transplant, etc.) and the leading doctors in those fields.
- A Reassuring Visual Language: The profiles, success rates, and patient reviews of more than 150 specialist physicians were presented with a design that meets international standards and emphasizes transparency and professionalism.
- Multilingual and Seamless Communication: The platform was optimized to serve international patients in their own languages, with quick access points added that direct users to 24/7 personal support and consultancy services.
- Transparent Process Management: "How Does the Process Work?" flows and free consultancy forms were simplified to reduce the user's cognitive load.
Outcome
Hop Health gained a modern digital platform where international patients can confidently plan their treatment journeys and reach premium healthcare services transparently and at advantageous prices. The platform reinforced its structure — one that has facilitated more than 1,000 successful operations — with a strong user experience.
